A Letter from Stan

"Debbie Lee founded America’s Mighty Warriors after her son Marc was the first Navy SEAL to be killed in Iraq on August 2, 2006. In Marc's Last Letter Home, he asked for friends and family to “pass on the love and kindness and precious gift of human life.” America's Mighty Warriors mission is to inspire, encourage, motivate and advocate for those whose lives have been touched by war and loss. Debbie's inspiration—born out of a mother's grief—helped us to put together our Raise Your Glass: America's Mighty Warriors program.

As a member of the America's Mighty Warriors Board, I have the privilege of having a front-row seat as America’s Mighty Warriors goes about its work. Your support of our Raise Your Glass program has had a direct, positive impact on America's Veterans and military families, from helping to pay for meals, coffee, gas and living expenses, to providing funding for those diagnosed with traumatic brain injury to receive Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. We must never forget those who paid the ultimate price to defend liberty and the sacred promise of what America stands for. In the same way, we must never forget the families they left behind.

Today, with your help, AMW is a national leader in providing critically-needed aid and assistance to disabled Veterans, military families and families who have lost loved ones in the service of our country. We thank you for your support and invite you to raise a glass with us across the nation."

A Letter from Debbie Lee

"It has been such a blessing to have the support from Stan Fredrick, Jane Creed and the amazing WineShop At Home team and Wine Consultants. Their generosity has changed the lives of hundreds of our troops, Veterans and Gold Star Families. It has been exciting to be involved with Wine Consultants who reach out to AMW for people they know or connect me with their clients who need the support that AMW offers. Many have mentioned how easy and quick the process is and the life changes that were made in the lives of those they referred. WineShop has been a force multiplier in the impact that AMW has on our mission to honor and support those who selflessly sacrifice for the freedoms we enjoy every day. Not only do they have the best wine in the world, but they also have huge hearts for our military and the families of our fallen."

Renee

I could not be more proud of my country and the men and women that defend our freedom, night and day, year after year, willing to sacrifice everything for people they have never met. Upon receiving a copy of Marc’s Last Letter Home, I was inspired to share his message with my students at school. I shared Marc’s letter to inspire the kids to go out into the community and help others. The kids were excited to share their ideas of what they could do either alone or with their families to help their neighbors."

Brooke with her son

I am a Gold Star Mother. My son, Blake, died in 2008 while serving in the US Army. I knew that I was joining a company that not only made their own great wines, but supports our military. When I do Tastings, I always mention our program. I've had Tastings with Veterans in attendance and it warms my heart to see their eyes light up when they learn that WineShop supports this cause. My son was only 28 when he died, but he had a taste for good wines. I'd like to think he got that from his mum! I raise a glass—not only to my son—but to all our men and women in uniform."

Shull Family, Stan Fredrick, Debbie Lee and Jane Creed on cruise

My husband (a Marine helicopter pilot) and I had just lost our 7-yr old daughter after she fought ATRT brain cancer on and off for nearly 6 years. Raise Your Glass: America's Mighty Warriors initially provided us with financial support to aid in the medical and funeral expenses we had incurred. Two years later, our family was invited on a Dream Vacation cruise to the Caribbean. We had not taken a family vacation since our loss. We are so grateful to not only our friend & Wine Consultant, Jenn, who introduced our family to this amazing company but to everyone associated with the Raise Your Glass program! Debbie Lee and WineShop At Home have become new friends with whom we have made wonderful vacation memories that we will cherish for years to come. Thank you so much!”

Jennifer Sallas with husband and daughter

Jennifer Sallas is a 30-year-old mother of 4 and her husband, Stephen, is a SGT at the 2-235th infantry in the U.S. Army. On March 12, 2019, she was diagnosed with ALL; Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Wine Consultant, Kelly Buckner contacted Debbie Lee, the founder of America’s Mighty Warriors and told her about Jennifer’s Journey. Within 2 days, AMW graciously gave a random act of kindness to Jennifer and Stephen. They were truly blessed with the generosity of Debbie Lee for caring and reaching out to military families in times of need."

Family of Captain Matthew Scott Burdett

My husband, Captain Matthew Scott Burdett is an Army Veteran who served 22 years, including 14 years as a combat medic. While acting as a good Samaritan helping motorists after witnessing a collision, a distracted driver crashed into his stopped pickup truck which, in turn, careened into him. Scott sustained a catastrophic brain injury. A $5,000 grant helped pay for the flight to get Scott his treatment and also paid for 40 of his Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments. We are so grateful for the very generous donation!"
