Broadmoore Estates 2014 California Muscat
This wine offers clean lines in the mouth and the attack with aromas of mango and lemon. Delivering a beautiful kick of acidity in the mid-palate along with a sweet finish, this wine is particularly delicious as the main ingredient in this recipe for a tall pitcher of St. Patrick’s Day inspired Apple & Pear Sangria.
Apple & Pear Sangria:
- 1 bottle of sweet white wine
- 1/2 cup apple-flavored brandy or liqueur
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 Granny Smith apple, thinly sliced
- 1 Bartlett pear, thinly sliced
- 1 can (12 ounces) seltzer
Combine wine, apple brandy, lemon zest, and sugar and stir until sugar dissolves. Add lemon juice, apples and pears and mix well. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours to chill. Just before serving, top sangria off with seltzer or 2 cups of
Sparkling Wine, if you’re so inclined.
Ceres California Radiance
Our Ceres Radiance has rich and intense flavors of mango and orange. This is a round and colorful wine enhanced with natural fruit flavors, perfect with your favorite springtime desserts.
Milano Cellars 2013 California Muscat Canelli
This wine is very characteristic to the varietal, with a fresh and cool floral attack. Dominating aromas of pear, green apple, pineapple, mango and lychee immediately follow. We’d pair this up with shrimp cocktail, grilled fish or a cheese platter.
